About Elevate Together

Affordable, safe spaces for restoring wellness for all ages in Barking & Dagenham — through fitness, gardening and wellbeing. Most sessions are free.

Our story

Building on community work since 2018, Elevate Together became a Community Interest Company in 2024.

Our home base is The Roost at Valence Primary School on Bonham Road in Dagenham — a space where local residents can reach affordable fitness, gardening and wellbeing without waiting lists or high costs.

The approach hasn't changed since the beginning: every programme is shaped by the people who use it.

Our values

Free or low-cost, always

Most of our sessions are free. When something has a price, we keep it as low as we can.

Shaped by the people who come

Participants tell us what they need, and sessions grow from there.

Safe and welcoming

Turn up as you are. Every session is open to all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels.

Rooted in the borough

We work only in Barking & Dagenham, in local venues, with local partners.

Nassaba Guiba

Nassaba founded Elevate Together from direct experience of what Barking & Dagenham's communities needed — and what was missing. She saw gaps in access to affordable wellness, safe green spaces and bookable community services, then built practical programmes to fill them.

Her approach is simple: listen to residents, design with them, and keep services accessible. That philosophy runs through every programme — from the Monday fitness sessions at the Women's Hub to the Saturday youth sessions at Harts Lane.
